This notice is for people we have contacted about Legal Case Analyst in a business capacity. It is separate from our main privacy policy, which covers people who use the service itself: legalcaseanalyst.com/privacy-policy/.
You can object at any time, and objection always wins. Use the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or email hello@legalcaseanalyst.com. We stop immediately. We then keep your email address on a suppression list — that single fact and nothing else — so that we never contact you again.
Legal Case Analyst is a product of TKJ Global Media Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 08272919, registered office 94 Queen Elizabeth Road, Wakefield WF1 4RJ. Data protection contact: hello@legalcaseanalyst.com. We are not required to appoint a data protection officer and have not appointed one; the contact address above reaches the person responsible. Registered with the Information Commissioner's Office as a data protection fee payer, registration reference ZC223758.
Your name, role, organisation, and business contact details, together with a record of where we obtained them and any correspondence you send us. Nothing else — no documents, no client information, no special category data, no criminal offence data.
Where an organisation publishes a general address such as
info@ or enquiries@, that is not information
about an identifiable person and we prefer it. Most of the addresses we
hold are of that kind.
Your record says which applies to you:
To decide which organisations to contact in the United Kingdom we also use the Companies House public register, which carries company records — name, number, legal form, registered address, filing history — and no contact details of any kind. It tells us which companies exist and what they do. It is never a source of your email address.
Sources we deliberately do not use. The Law Society's Find a Solicitor service, the Solicitors Regulation Authority register, the Law Society of New South Wales register and the ACT Bar Association directory: their terms do not permit reuse for marketing. We also do not seek the registered email address that every UK company must file with Companies House — Parliament has withheld it from public inspection (Companies Act 2006 s.1087(1)(za)) and we treat that as settling the question.
Our legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)): introducing our document-analysis service to organisations whose ordinary work involves the kinds of document it reviews — contracts, leases, employment and services agreements — and which may not otherwise take advice on them. We send at most a small number of short emails, we do not profile you, and no automated decision with legal or similar effect is made about you. Contacting you does not create any solicitor–client or other advisory relationship, and nothing we send is legal advice.
Our email service provider, which processes it on our instructions under a data processing agreement. No provider is engaged at the date of this notice, and no outreach email has been sent. Before any is sent, this section will name the provider, its country, and the transfer safeguards relied on. If that processing involves sending your details outside the United Kingdom, we rely on the safeguards named here and you can obtain a copy of them by writing to hello@legalcaseanalyst.com. Nobody else: we do not sell, rent or share outreach contact data.
If you do not engage with us, we delete your record six months after our first message — your name, role, organisation, contact details and the record of where we found them.
If you object, your email address moves to the suppression list described above. That is the only thing we keep indefinitely, and we keep it for one reason: so that we never contact you again. Deleting it would put you back in scope for a future campaign, which is the opposite of what you asked for.
Data portability does not apply to this processing. That right covers information you have given a controller under a contract or with your consent, processed automatically; we hold your business contact details on the basis of legitimate interests instead, so the right is not engaged. Every other right above applies in full.
If we contacted you in Australia, you can also raise concerns about commercial email with the Australian Communications and Media Authority: acma.gov.au.
Use this form to complain to us about how we have handled your personal data. You will receive an acknowledgement by email immediately, and a person will look into it and tell you the outcome.
The details you enter here are used only to handle your complaint. Complaint records are retained as evidence of how the complaint was handled.
